Liam goes to prom!

Liam's cousin Jordan had his senior prom on Saturday night and in true family form, we were all there to take pictures and ooohhh and aaahhhh. Of course Liam wanted in on the action. Apparently, he had some fun because he was wiped out by the end of the night!

5 month update

Liam had his doctor's visit on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I am just getting to write about it now because our computer is not cooperating. Anyway, it went smoothly as usual. He is currently 27.5 inches long (95th percentile) and 17 lbs. 14 ozs. (which drops him down to the 75th percentile). So I guess this means he is starting to stretch out and lose some of his baby fat although you wouldn't know it from looking at him. In developmental news, he is rolling over all the time now. He still puts everything in his mouth, but he prefers more high technology gear to chew on such as cell phones and remote controls. He also loves to grab Momma O's hair with all of his might and pull and pull and pull.... I see now why so many moms end up with short haircuts. It may just be my imagination, but he seems to be getting more of a sense of humor- like he gets why certain things are funny. He loves playing peek-a-boo and chase the dog (although Maeby prefers the first game over the second). He is also very excited about getting to meet his Aunt Amy in a few days.

Shoes cover toes

Liam wore his spiffy converse yesterday. The only problem with his spiffy shoes is he can't get to his spiffy toes- this doesn't make him very happy. On a side note- I did not have control of the camera at the end of this so please do not critique my recording skills.

Thank you Sofia!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Tia Sofia for Liam's new umbrella stroller. It is everything we ever wanted in an umbrella stroller and we are so lucky to have such an awesome, caring friend that loves Liam soooo much. He loves it by the way!

My Boys

So yesterday was Mother's Day and it was my first Mother's Day (as an actual mom) and I have to say that it was a pretty good one. Granted, we picked a horrible day to go to the beach because of the record breaking heat that we had to endure, but how can I complain? This is the part where I start to get sappy, so if you are not partial to sappiness you may want to stop reading. Anyway, how can I complain when I got to spend the day with these 2 handsome boys. Obviously, my life has changed drastically as of 4.5 months ago, but I couldn't be happier. I have the sweetest, most loving husband a girl could ask for and an equally sweet and loving son to go along with it. I don't even know how to describe the emotions that occur when I see pictures like these, but they are really good ones! I feel like they do a good job of showing how much love (and giddiness) Daddy O feels for Liam. I guess what I am trying to say is thanks to Daddy O for loving me so much and giving me the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love my boys...

These pretzels are making him thirsty!

Liam loves to drink water from the big boy cup. I didn't really catch it on the video, but he does this weird lizard thing with his tongue when he is trying to drink and it is so funny to see.

Beach Daze

There has been some beautiful weather in SFL lately. As a result, Liam went to the beach twice in the last week. Don't worry- we made sure he was equipped with sunscreen and hat!

Happy Birthday Beth

Today is Aunt Beth's birthday and Liam insisted that he put on his puppy towel that Aunt Beth gave him and wish her a happy birthday.

The Best Moments

Daddy O doesn't get to see Liam all day like Momma O so he looks forward to getting home and spending some quality time with him. Putting Liam on the bed and talking to him is a favorite activity. Having Liam put his little hand on your face is pretty much the best feeling ever.
